Following the now infamous basketball tournament at Campus A Low Hum 2010; the Aro courts in Wellington have become a battleground for any and all bands who happen to find themselves with spare time while on tour.

We caught some of the action when Signer played The Crackhouse 5, and with some footage from their performance on the “Assembly” stage at Campus, we bring you “Languidly Toot” from the recently released “Next We Bring You The Fire”.

The extremely talented (and with such a beautiful voice) Misfit Mod a.k.a. Sarah Kelleher has been busy working on her debut album “Islands + Islands”, which is due out later this year.

To accompany her second single, we needed to find a dancer with the ability to move with the same emotion and restraint you hear within the music. And finally, we found her. Watch Sugar C featuring the movements of the lovely Milo Haigh.

Yes, it’s been a while since last we wrote.. but plenty is happening at eep! We have two new videos being released this week.

The first is for Melbourne based Hip Hop producer & multi-instumentalist Pataphysics aka Patrick Marks. Earlier in the year eep! was commissioned by The Very Good Agency to produce a clip for the second single from Pat’s debut (soon to be released) album off the back of the great success his first single received in Australia’s Triple J Unearthed charts.

Second is a clip for Auckland’s Bannerman aka Richie Setford – not just the friendliest bass player you’ll ever meet, but part of several great Auckland acts including Batucada Sound Machine and the recently defunct One Million Dollars.

And finally, post-production is about to begin on the documentary of the Camp A Low Hum trilogy. Make sure to check back in the coming months for updates and excerpts from the film.

Camping, the way it should be done

We are now recovering from an intense but enjoyable weekend filming (for the third year in a row) at Camp A Low Hum. Quite possibly the best event of it’s kind in the country (and possibly the world). Look out for the announcements on the documentary of the camp trilogy later in the year.
